Photography is just the starting place for my images. It doesn't matter what the subject, people, places or things. I take those images and transform them some way, sometimes a little, some times a lot. The goal is to create an image that touches the viewer in some way, form or fashion. I want them to tell a story, capture the emotions of life. We do not experience anything that is not common to mankind. These images are to encourage, they say whatever it is you are not alone in your journey.
For many years I have been creating images with my camera and word pictures with my pen. Today I begin to share those with all that care to spend a few moments to experience these images. I am grateful to God for the opportunity to both experience and share these captured moments. He has blessed me with a wife, family and job that allows me the time to create these images.
I often think I am nothing but a plagiarist at best when someone compliments my work. Life is an ever flowing stream. It is constantly on the move. Then I think again its really gratitude for grabbing a moment in time or a view of a place they might have missed or were unable to see. Its the experience that I am able to provide.
